Who conducts PET recruitment
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) — PET score is used for Lekhpal, Junior Assistant, Gram Panchayat Adhikari, Forest Guard, Stenographer and other Group C main exams.
PET eligibility
10th pass (High School) is the minimum requirement to appear in PET. Age is usually 18–40 years as on the notification cut-off date, with rule-based relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates.
PET exam pattern & selection process
Single objective paper of 100 questions (100 marks, 2 hours) covering Indian History, National Movement, Geography, Economy, Constitution, General Science, Elementary Arithmetic, Hindi, English, Reasoning, Current Affairs, General Awareness plus unread passage, graph and table interpretation. Negative marking of 1/4 mark applies, and the PET score card stays valid for one year.
